NRA Instructor Rifle Shooting Course

March 25, 2024 – March 26, 2024This 16-hour course teaches the knowledge, skills and attitude essential to organizing, promoting and teaching NRA’s Basic Rifle Shooting course.
Prerequisite: Possession of basic firearm safety and shooting skills is a perquisite for certification as an NRA instructor. Prior to the instructor training, candidates complete a pre-course questionnaire and demonstrate their firearm background in pre-course assessment exercises.
Description: Course is presented in two parts: Basic Instructor Training, and discipline specific instructor training. Students demonstrate organizational and teaching skills via participation in practical exercises during the course, and complete an instructor certification examination. Students will receive the NRA Trainer’s Guide, NRA Rifle Shooting Instructor Candidate Packet and NRA Basic Rifle Shooting course student packet.March 26, 2024 (1 event)

AR15 Fundamentals

March 29, 2024Explore our AR-15 course specifically designed for civilian use. This curriculum is live-fire training, with a focus on learning how to use an AR-15 for home and self-defense. This course has something for everyone. For those new to the world of AR's you'll learn proper maintenance, operation, and accessory selection. Seasoned shooters will walk away with a better understanding of a proper zero, importance of round trajectory, and mechanical offset for close encounters.
